Weight Loss Facts:

Low Fat Foods DO NOT WORK.

The low fat diet trend started about 15 years ago, but guess what? We are still getting fatter! Low fat diets are okay for your health, but they are not the fastest way to lose weight. In fact you might not lose any weight following one of these plans. Why? Because they are not sustainable and they do not take advantage of our bodies natural fat burning mechanisms. However keep in mind that eating low fat food is very good for your health, so in that since I certainly do recommend it … just not as a primary weight loss method.

Low Calorie Diets DO NOT WORK.

Not only do Low Calorie Diets not work, they are the WORST thing you can do! Sure you might lose a few pounds, but then your body’s metabolism slows down, it goes into “starvation” mode and all weight loss stops. Low Calories Diets SHUT DOWN your natural fat burning engine and they are unhealthy for you. Do not get caught in the “dieters trap” set by these kinds of diets.

Low Carb Plans DO NOT WORK.

Many people have had success with these kinds of plans, but almost all of them gain back the weight that they lost. Why? Because Low Carb plans are too strict! The average person CANNOT follow a low carb plan for very long because they are TOO HARD. Low carb menus rob you of energy and leave you feeling tired and sluggish. That is why most people quit them and end up gaining back all of the weight that they initially lost.
